Mama Shelter Prague

"I wasn't sure about this location originally, as it's a little further from the old town and the train station than other properties I was considering but in retrospect this was for the best! Prague's tourist areas are ridiculously crowded, Mamma Shelter is in an area with lots of restaurants nearby and a central tram stop out front yet in a more mellow area. It was only 10 to 15 minutes to take a tram anywhere where we wanted to go and easy to walk places as well. The lobby is a ton of fun with free pinball, arcade games, foosball and a pool table. The restaurant/bar terrace were a lot of fun and reasonably priced (very tasty pizza). Breakfast was decent, not amazing but pretty good with a make your own juice machine. We stayed in an XL suite and it was huge 1.5 bathrooms, large living areas and a king size bed. Nice views of the city as well. Only small issues were we had were the fridge in the room didn't keep drinks very cold and housekeeping didn't replinish our Nespresso pods."

"Cannot say enough about this hotel. Amazing super fun decor, incredible buffet breakfast, friendly young staff. We arrived early, they stored our luggage as we explored. We had a XXL Mama room which has a powder room and living room. Well appointed and clean. This is like an upscale hostel for adults who need to be reminded to have fun. Good location. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful and stylish hotel with a very cozy atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything smelled amazing. We also loved the espresso at the bar and the brunch options. Great location for exploring Prague and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again."
