Pickalbatros Makadi Resort Aqua Park - Hurghada

"Albatros Makadi Resort runs on the same concept as other hotels by Pickalbatros and is the reason why I keep returning. The best part about this hotel in particular are its stretched out beach with its relatively small yet beautiful and colorful reef and the staff and its extraordinary service even without expecting tips. The fact that there are too many names to mention specifically is a confirmation of the last. The interior and exterior are modern and simplistic with one main building surrounded by many two to three level apartment buildings with each its own pool. The walks through the resort reminded me rather of Mediterranean beach towns in Europe than Egypt. In addition the hotel offers different AI amenities like a tennis court, aqua park and a daily entertainment program throughout the day. Due to the size of the resort I did not manage to see all. Neither am I someone who enjoys participating actively in said program offered by the animation team, but fortunately they’re not pushy and remain respectful. Sasa and Anna in particular should be mentioned, since they managed to put a smile even on my grumpy face. The only thing I would have preferred here is a bit more Oriental flair again regarding the shows."

"The hotel team was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. They even remembered our usual orders and checked in to confirm if we wanted the same—such thoughtful touches made us feel truly special. Everything was spotlessly clean, with constant attention to tidying up. The warm pool was perfect for relaxing, and the ice-cold beer hit the spot every time, thanks to the amazing pool bar team. The food was delicious overall, but the pastries and desserts were exceptional, pure genius! Our son loved the mango juice, which became his daily highlight. We'll be back soon."
