Hotel Costa Salina

"Very nice hotel in the center of Porto Vecchio. Large parking area outdoor, a couple places where you can charge. Efficient reception, nice staff in general, very nice rooms half of them overlooking the harbor, not at the nicest place though. The other rooms overlook the swimming pool. The pool itself is large, not heated, but at end of summer at a decent temperature. Also a heated Jacuzzi available. Pool bar open all day, also for lunch, very convenient and the food is good. the rooms come with all amenities, the only little thing to complain is that at 9 o’clock in the morning the water of the shower is not really warm anymore. Vending machines on site also. if it wasn’t for the shower, I would’ve given this a five star rating."

"We stayed at this hotel between 7-14 August and have enjoyed a relaxing break here. The hotel is well located around the marina and close to the harbour restaurants and also a 15 minute walk to the Old Town which is very nice for an evening meal out with a nice atmosphere. The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very polite and hard working and the pool side food and drink service is really good. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the larger comfort room and the marina view is nice and the room Is very spacious with a super comfortable bed. The reception team have been great - they put fruit and champagne in our room for 25th anniversary - an unprompted surprise. The hotel pool is very nice with plenty of shade and sunbeds and they offer cabanas at no charge. There is a wide choice of lunchtime food and drinks. The hotel is ideally located to explore the beaches of south Corsica at Saint Gulia and Palambaggia - although most people hire a car, we managed by taking the local buses to the beach as well as a day trip to Bonafacio. We have enjoyed this hotel and would recommend it to people wishing to explore South Corsica."
