    This open-air market is open every day except Mondays, with stalls selling fresh, local produce – from fruit and veg to cheese, olive oil and, of course, lavender and Herbs de Provence. It’s only a 10-minute walk from Royal Antibes, so carrying all your purchases back to the hotel won’t be a problem.

    Musée Picasso

    Set in the impressive Grimaldi Castle, where Picasso lived and worked in 1946, the Musée Picasso is just 10 minutes from the hotel on foot. It showcases a unique collection of Picasso’s later work, as well as pieces by other artists. Expect a mix of paintings, ceramics and sketches. And be sure to allow time to take in the view from the terrace.
