Ibis Lyon Centre Perrache

"Outstanding hotel. This isn’t a luxurious hotel by any means, if that’s what you’re looking for. Everything is simple, quaint with an almost rustic, medieval feel to it, but the rooms are impeccably clean, the rooms are renovated and the staff especially helpful. The breakfast is amazing ! Fresh baked bread and pain au chocolat everyday, among other things. It’s a continental type breakfast, but not like an American style. Location is superb, right next to Perrache station, the parks, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend !"

"Very bad rooms. So low ceiling. I had to literally be careful while walking. The window was so high and for a 5 feet 8 inches person. It was like a jail. Breakfast area is also so congested and small space. Food was also not so great. You need to boil your eggs yourself. Coffee served in machine was nearly cold. Greatest mistake to book this hotel. Will never book in IBIS group"

"There were no items in the room to meet basic needs such as a cupboard, safe, or trash can. Additionally, in the hotel where we stayed as 2 people, we were given only 2 towels. There wasn't even a small towel to dry our hair. The sink in our room was constantly leaking water. There were no comfort devices in our room, such as a coffee machine and kettle. The only good thing about the hotel was that it was very close to the metro. His breakfast was okay. The staff at the reception were very friendly. But the employees in the breakfast room were not friendly. If I go to Lyon again, I will definitely not stay at this hotel."
