Residhome Marseille

"Great location for exploring Marseille. Beautifully clean throughout. Lovely comfortable beds ! Hot showers and friendly reception staff. Good value for money. We went out most days for breakfast , loads of amazing cafes nearby. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel overall and would happily recommend it to others. There were just a couple of small areas where the experience could have been even better. It would have been lovely to have a few extra tea and coffee supplies provided in the kitchen area each day, rather than just the initial welcome selection on arrival. At breakfast, we did our best to ask in French about gluten-free bread, but unfortunately we weren’t able to get a clear answer. The cereal options were fine, though it would have been helpful to know definitively whether gluten-free bread was available. We also felt the breakfast service could have been a little warmer and more welcoming. That said, aside from these minor points, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s many positives."

"Clean, darker than pictures on the web. Really appreciated tea bags and kitchen outensils. Quiet area. Madrass ok. Expensive breakfast (18 per person). Noisy elevator (high pitches peeps). Loved the location in walking distance to Mucem & old-town. Friendly staff."

"What a fantastic place to stay in Marseille, we found it perfect. The room was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It had a fridge, microwave and small hob for self catering. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet every night and we slept well. Staff were all very polite and friendly. We didn't eat breakfast there, we thought 15 Euros each was a bit over-priced but there are many cafes nearby for a good breakfast. The location is excellent, very central to the main attractions and close to many restaurants and supermarkets. The metro station is very close and it is only 2 stops to the main railway station (transport is very cheap and reliable). We would highly recommend a stay at Residhome for a visit to Marseille."
