"What a fabulous wee hotel! Sebastian on the front desk was amazing with recommendations for day trips and restaurants which were all fabulous! He even helped us with our train bookings ! Above and beyond, we love it! Super clean hotel and a lovely breakfast too! Ohh and the location is amazing too!"

"Cozy, well-functioning, friendly hotel in the middle of Nice. I stayed 10 days with friends and also by myself in the Hotel les Cigales. Hotel is located near the sea, near promenade, city centre and surrounded by nice restaurants, cafes, bakeries, cultural activities and in the middle of pleasant quiet neighbourhood. Personnel was super friendly all the time and responded always nicely to any wishes. Breakfast is served every morning for three hours and it was a proper nutritious breakfast with a lot of items to choose from. Each room has also a kettle and possibility to enjoy teas and coffees throughout the stay. There is also a minibar fridge and a hair dryer in each room. The view from some of the rooms is very limited and the soundproofing in the hotel is not the best one, but everything else worked out really well. Rooms and the bathrooms were spacious and they were cleaned every day. It was also possible to store your bicycle to a safe place within the hotel. I would definitely like to stay also in the future in this cozy little hotel."

"The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room on the top floor was not the best. The ceiling slopes and is quite shallow above one half of the bed. I was careful enough for most days but on the last morning I whacked my head and it knocked me back onto the bed. If you're staying here, try to avoid a room on the top floor. The elevator was out of order during our stay and there didn't appear to be any efforts to get it fixed. The staff did help us with luggage up the stairs on our arrival, but no elevator was super inconvenient. Breakfast was comparable to most and nothing special. The location was good and we could walk to most places."
