"This is a mixed bag review because some positives but also negatives. Location is opposite the train station basically and view from the balcony are the rail lines and Ibis hotel rooms opposite, Balcony is barely able to accommodate 2 chairs and a very small table and overlooks the busy road below.Nowhere to sit outside . Despite windows closed the noise from the trains and traffic is quite noticeable even though we were on the 5th floor. Staff were pretty disinterested and despite our wedding anniversary went unacknowledged. Staff did not ask about our stay or offer any greeting unless we instigated it. Breakfast was good and offered a wide choice of food . Coffee and teas and cold water free 24 Hours. Towels were a problem as I was told they were laundered on site so on returning to have a shower before our evening meal on 3 out of 5 occasions they were not replaced. Coffee and tea and milk was not replenished either and again I had to go and ask at reception. Room safe was faulty and had to call staff to open the safe as it had an error code each time. Room phone not working so had to go up and down 5 floors each time there was an issue. Lift was temperamental but did work after trying call button a few times. Lift was dirty and carpet stained but the rest of the hotel and rooms was clean. Quite a walk to the sea front so we would use an Uber to return home as area around station typically quite seedy in parts. I would say hotel fine for maybe a couple of nights but staying 5 pushed to the limit and I would probably look for somewhere closer to the old town if I did return to Nice. Lovely places to see and the bus tour a good starting point to see Nice and the surrounding area."

"We had a pleasant stay at So’Co hotel in Nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the location was very convenient! The breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable and practical. Overall, a good experience. We would recommend staying here."
