Nice Riviera

"Really impressed with this hotel. Great location near transport, cafes and attractions. Very clean. Pool was a wonderful asset. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. One lady at breakfast is very friendly and the other could do with a smile ! X"

"We recently stayed at Hotel Nice Riviera and overall found it to be a convenient base for exploring Nice. The location is excellent, everything from the old town to the seafront is within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a full day sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. However, there were a few issues that meant, for us, it didn’t quite feel like a true four-star experience. The air conditioning was very ineffective, so the room stayed uncomfortably warm, especially overnight, and opening the windows wasn’t practical because of the street noise. Unfortunately, when the air conditioning was running, there was also a noticeable cigarette smell coming through, which made the room less pleasant. The pool is quite small and became busy very quickly, so it felt crowded rather than relaxing. We also noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling, which was disappointing and something that clearly needs attention. Overall, the hotel has strong points, especially its location, but in its current condition I don’t feel it fully matches four-star expectations."

"Staff was incredibly helpful. They attempted to get us dinner reservations at Le Sens, happily got us a bucket of ice and answered our many questions. The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Could the hotel use an update? Sure... but it was a good stay in a great area."
