Hotel L'Ormaie

"The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers plenty of facilities: a spa, swimming pool, and gym, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The room was medium-sized, with a huge and extremely comfortable bed, and a truly beautiful bathroom. I also really appreciated the thoughtful in-room details: bathrobe and slippers, a coffee corner with a coffee machine and kettle, a hairdryer, and especially the clothes steamer, which was super useful! I was assigned a room on the first floor: not my preferred option, as I often had to keep the curtains closed to avoid people looking in, but overall it did not affect my stay. The included breakfast was very generous and enjoyable. Perhaps I would have appreciated a few more options for guests with gluten or lactose intolerance, but with fruit, muesli, bread, and jam, you can still have a good breakfast. The only small things I missed, compared with other hotels (even non-4-star ones) were a wardrobe, a larger desk to work at, and a toothbrush and toothpaste kit. Aside from this, the stay was very pleasant, and I would gladly return!"

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel and we had the best time. We could not find any faults with this hotel. Staff were lovely and very helpful and especially patient with my poor French. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was a dream, with so much choice and quality. We booked the pool and that was a treat. Location is perfect. Ten minutes either way and you are staring at a legendary monument. The bars and bistros nearby are great, plus the shops. Easy access to metro, bus and bus networks. Cannot recommend highly enough."
