"I accidentally selected the wrong reservation dates and contacted the hotel as soon as I realized my mistake. I was not asking for a refund, only for some assistance or flexibility regarding the booking dates. Unfortunately, the customer service was uninterested and unhelpful throughout the process. There was no effort to find a solution or offer any alternative despite my situation being a genuine mistake. As a result, I had to book and pay for another hotel for the correct dates, which caused unnecessary additional expenses and stress for my trip. Very disappointing customer service experience. I would not choose this hotel again."

"I never thought I’d be writing a review telling people to avoid a hotel—but here we are. I stayed at the H4 Wyndham Paris Pleyel for seven days during a business trip to Paris. While I was satisfied with the room and the general service, I strongly recommend considering other hotels first—for the sake of your finances. The issue is not the price itself, but the way payments were handled. At check-in, I was asked to pay for a room that had already been covered by my travel agency. After resolving that, I was told I needed to pay a city tax and a deposit for snacks, which would be fully refunded (the deposit) at checkout if unused. I have yet to receive that refund. At checkout, things got worse. Hours after checkout, a large amount was deducted from my bank account for the room—again, already paid—without any prior notice, receipt, or explanation. I only discovered this through my online banking. I had to return to the hotel to resolve the issue in person, and even now, after returning home, a significant amount is still pending on my account for charges that should have been refunded. This sums up the amount of affected money to almost 1000€! This is completely unacceptable! I have also been trying to contact the hotel for two days without receiving any response or acknowledgment. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel."

"Very comfortable large rooms . Clean and great views Bar staff very friendly in the restaraunt. Shower lovely and powerful Nespresso coffee machine welcome Nice sitting area along the window to chill and look out from the higher floors Great location if watching a night rugby match and easy to get into central Paris with the metro 2 minutes or 6 minutes walk away Disappointing that the scenic bar shut at 12 as limited options around the area Felt a bit shoved out of the bar at closing. Not 1 minute extra given to finish up drinks we’d ordered just 30 minutes earlier . But great location Some good local bars around . If you like the basic type of French bar. But oh the Algerian food at the Chichi Ponpon was amazing. Just don’t expect anything other than basic seating and a bar without thrills around it. Though we ended up lucky enough to have the locals playing the heir string instruments and singing traditional Algerian songs made it a great end to a fantastic weekend."
