Timhotel Gare de l'Est

"A fantastic stay at the Timhotel Gare De L'est. Great location, just 10 minute easy walk from the Eurostar Terminal, Gare Du Nord. Easy to get around using the Gare De L'est metro. Hotel was spotless and rooms decorated to a high standard, super comfy bed. The best bit was the air conditioning, when it was 35 degrees outside it was bliss walking it a cold room. Staff friendly. We didn't have breakfast, as preferred to do a Formula Breakfast in one if the Bistros for 8 Euros. We ate in some of the Bistros/Brasseries near the hotel, great value for money and quality food, as opposed to the tourist traps. Also felt safe in the neighborhood and we stayed when Paris Staint Germaine vs Arsenal match was on. Would 100% stay here again."

"The pro's: Right next door the station, fantastic to get around. Very nice room, nice views. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated The staff are the friendliest ppl in the whole of Paris. Great value.I can't praise tge hotel and its staff enough, they have clearly worked hard to provide a great service. The con's: Right next to the station, so very busy and the surrounding area is an overpriced dump, non of this is the hotels fault though, infact its to its credit, its an oasis in a sea of horrendously overpriced holes. In conclusion: A great place to bed down and venture out from, just dont expect the local area to live upto the high standards set by the hotel itself."
