"A great place to stay. Spacious room, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, instant hot water, open window or air con. Good location for bars, restaurants and groceries and easy transport to city sights. Helpful reception."

"We arrived on Friday 20th March for our stay, and although check-in wasn’t until 3pm, everything went smoothly. We stayed in room 501. We genuinely couldn’t fault a thing the place was absolutely spotless. The room had everything we needed, including a microwave, fridge, cooker, and all the utensils you could think of. The beds were incredibly comfortable, we had best sleep. The soft towels and the lovely body wash and lotion were a really nice touch. The location was perfect for us very central, with lovely restaurants, bars, and supermarkets all within walking distance. We had such a fantastic stay and honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you so much to the friendly staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back! Missing Paris already Chloe Pettigrew"

Ruined our holiday experience

"We were informed at check-in that the hotel was overbooked and were relocated to a completely different property after our first night away in a long time, despite careful planning, travelling from Amsterdam, arranging dog sitters, and booking time off work. The place we were moved to was hostel-standard at best: old, grubby, poorly maintained, with visible mould and clearly in need of full refurbishment (see attached photos). This was a huge downgrade from what we booked and paid for. The situation was made worse by total miscommunication from the reception staff saying a taxi driver was called to bring us to the new location and the hotel would pay for it , we pull up at the new location and the taxi driver demands to be paid after we tried to tell him multiple times the hotel told us they have/would pay for the taxi, this resulted in an argument with the driver he tried to drive away with our bags in the car and we just had to pay or he would not give us our bags this caused so much stress also after being moved to a horrible hotel we had been in Paris quite literally 1 hour. This experience ruined a large part of our trip. Do not book this hotel if you expect to stay where you booked — you may be told at check-in that you’ve been overbooked and dumped elsewhere. The hotel is taking no accountability and saying I have to sort this out with Booking.com - disaster - attached you will see where we were dumped to after being told the new hotel is “lovely” and of the same standard"
