"This Doubletree was amazing! Great location and the staff was welcoming. Jessica the front desk agent made checkin enjoyable - she was kind. Jessica Niedlich the rooms division manager helped make our stay special. Also, Hazel was very helpful in working with us. It's refreshing to find a team of professionals working in the hospitaliy industry committed to making our stay great! The restaurant and lobby bar staff were excellent. We truly enjoyed our time in Berlin. Thank you!"

"May Day trip to Berlin and overnight stay at the Doubletree Hilton. We have been to the same place before when it was called the Steinberger Hotel. The hotel has undergone a major renovation and the end result was excellent. The rooms are reasonably small, as is the shower room. The bed and mattress were a bit soft for a big man, but we were able to sleep there. The air conditioning in the room had to be turned off because the fan made an annoying noise. Breakfast was ok without any surprises. There were 2 water bottles in the room, as is usually the case in hotels, but for the first time on my travels, no full bottles were provided. There was a note on the table asking customers to fill their water bottles THEMSELVES in the gym or at a water point in the lobby area. This seems like a strange policy. If you wanted new full water bottles to be brought to your room every day, the price was 2 euros. We decided that we would not start paying for water in a 5* hotel and did not go looking for a place to fill it. Overall not bad vacation and location near everything is great."
