Beachfront luxury in Kommeno Bay
The Grecotel Eva Palace at Kommeno Peninsula is luxurious from the word go – from its idyllic seafront location to its elegant main pool and chic interiors. The large seawater swimming pool is the central focus of this hotel, and it's clear to see why. Sitting perfectly on the peninsula, these palm tree-topped waters offer sweeping sea views and come paired with a convenient swim-up bar. You'll also find that the hotel backs onto a secluded beach with plenty of sun loungers and parasols to relax on.
If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, you can get involved in games of ping pong and boules, or hire bikes to explore the local area. Alternatively, take advantage of the hotel’s programme of classes, which covers off everything from wine tasting and cocktail making, to dance and cookery. If that sounds too high energy, enjoy some R&R at the rooftop Elixir Spa. There’s an impressive treatment menu on offer, which includes the likes of chocolate massages and caviar facials. The spa is also home to a fitness room and a sauna, if you fancy working up a sweat.
Visit between mid-May and mid-October, meanwhile, and you'll have access to even more facilities at neighbouring properties in Kommeno Bay. A shuttle boat will be on hand to ferry you back and forth, if you fancy a change of scenery. And if it's a trip to Corfu Town you're after, they've got you covered on that front as well, thanks to the complimentary shuttle bus that runs daily – just make sure you book your seat in advance.
When it comes to food and drink, you’ve got the choice of three restaurants and bars. The main restaurant is a buffet set-up serving around-the-world dishes and the rest are à la carte eateries – take your pick from the poolside Mediterranean restaurant with sweeping sea views and a delicious steak and sushi place. You’ll also find three bars dotted around the hotel’s grounds, including one on the sand-and-shingle beach.
Please note that due to the layout and number of steps throughout the hotel, it may be unsuitable for those with reduced mobility. Shuttle boat to neighbouring hotels in the resort is available between 13/05 – 13/10, and is weather permitting. Tennis facilities are located at the nearby Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay Dassia.
