Nalu Resort and Spa

"!!! BIG CONSTRUCTION WORKS !!! We stayed at NALU Spa Resort in Crete and, while there are some positives, the overall experience was seriously affected by major construction work happening at the hotel. Management does not appear to communicate this clearly, which is very disappointing. From early morning until late evening, the constant noise from concrete mixers and drilling was extremely intrusive and made it difficult to relax. The ground-floor rooms are also a problem. They are very small, narrow, and far from the sea, with no real side sea view as suggested. Rooms 101 to 109 in particular should be avoided. Privacy is very poor, with hotel guests constantly passing by and being able to look directly into the room and even the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the finishing quality is decent, and the hotel has a nice overall look and feel. However, the lack of honest communication from management about the ongoing noise and construction is unacceptable. In my opinion, this is a serious issue and a good reason to be aware before booking. Based on the scale of the works, this may continue until 2027."

"I recently stayed at Nalu Resort and Spa hotel in Greece for my birthday and had the most wonderful time. Hotel was beautiful and clean. You can feel that the staff who work there care. What really stood out to me was the excellent service from 4 members staff in particular. Efi,Galliopi,Ellie and Danielle. They were professional,friendly, and went above and beyond to make my and my daughters stay most memorable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing spa break. Specially thanks to the outstanding staff who made the stay extra special xx"

"New and nicely decorated hotel. Unfortunately doesn’t give a five star experience. Most of the staff is polite and nice and the breakfast buffet is good. Sunbeds are nice and pool area clean. Room was very small and didn’t have any space for luggage or clothes. We booked bigger room but this was what we got. Shower doesn’t give any privacy as it has only see-through doors. The room is ok for one night, not for longer stay. Jacuzzi is placed on a balcony facing pool area, so it has no privacy. The gym was a big disappointment and it does not match the pictures shown. It is a very small room with no windows at all. For us this resort was overall a disappointment and it does not meet the five star standards."
