"Can not recommend this place enough. Absolutely lovely people, large well equipped apartments, immaculately clean, beautiful pools kept very clean. I am coeliac and they catered to my needs clearly understood allergens as they even asked about mustard for clarity. I brought my own bread and I’m glad I did I couldn’t find any in the Liddell or other supermarkets. The staff are absolutely lovely, attentive and made our holiday. The prices are the most reasonable for food and drink also the shop isn’t over priced."

"Very spacious rooms with big balcony. In May the pool was very quiet- plenty of beds, but may be different in high summer. The room had everything you would need apart from a hairdryer but you can get one at reception. The onsite restaurant and bar are run by some of the loveliest and friendliest people you could meet. The food is excellent quality and very good value. The bus to Rethymnon is cheap but often late. Don’t make the mistake of trying to catch it for the return journey at the same place as drop off; it’s across the road. Rethymnon is worth a visit but is a real tourist trap as the cost of a meal is so much more than in Gerani. However we found a true Greek restaurant called Kokkinos which was excellent food and prices. If you eat in the small streets in central Rethymnon you will pay extra for it. We had excellent meals in the first restaurant you come to in Gerani Village and again reasonably priced. The local beach is very small- sandy but if you want nicer beaches you would need to hire a car. We didn’t need a car- we enjoyed the quiet pool area, a walk to the beach and the fantastic hospitality of all the staff, including cleaners and shop staff. We visited Rethymnon a couple of times on the bus. A truly relaxing holiday, but don’t come here if you like nightlife!"
