"The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect — right in a prime area with easy access to everything we needed. Unfortunately, the service completely let the experience down. The staff were very inexperienced and, at times, quite rude in the way they handled issues. I will begin by stating this point, the hotel was exceptionally clean throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining both the room and the communal areas to a very high standard. The cleaners were always friendly, professional, and hardworking, and their level of service stood in stark contrast to some of the issues we experienced with reception. Their kindness and attention to detail were greatly appreciated and helped make parts of our stay more enjoyable. On the other hand, what was most frustrating was the way the staff handled the issue with my room booking. They made me feel as though I was at fault for them double booking my room to me on the same night. They acted as if they were doing me a favour by not charging me an extra fee after they had double booked my room. Rather than taking responsibility and resolving the situation professionally, there was very little empathy or accountability shown, which really overshadowed what could have been a great stay. To make matters worse, the hot tub in my room was cold for the first two days of my stay. I reported the issue to reception twice. The first time my concern was brushed off, and when I raised it again for a second time, I was simply ignored. Interestingly, the hot tub started working approximately two hours after I made the second complaint, but no one contacted me, acknowledged the issue, or offered any apology for the inconvenience. The lack of communication and concern for guest experience was extremely disappointing, especially as this was one of the features we were looking forward to using. To finish, I had booked breakfast and dinner for the full 7-day stay, yet I only received 6 dinners. I missed the first dinner due to my flight arriving late, but despite this, I was not allowed dinner on the final day to make up for it. The only solution they offered was 20% off lunch, which felt completely inadequate considering the inconvenience and poor handling of the situation. It’s disappointing because the hotel has so much potential due to its stunning appearance, cleanliness and excellent location, but the poor customer service and lack of professionalism made the overall experience unpleasant."

"I stayed at a hotel in Crete, and I was absolutely thrilled. Everything was very nice—especially the staff, who were extremely helpful, particularly Tanja. The head chef also did an amazing job: the food was simply fantastic and really delicious. In the restaurant, the team was also very friendly, especially Yannis. The room was always clean, well organized, and beautifully kept. The view from the hotel was directly over the sea, and the beach was also very nice."
