"These are lovely (small) apartments, where the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have no complaints about the apartment - very spacious, free safe, nice bathroom etc and the staff was always very helpful (ordering taxi's, giving directions etc). I do think drinks are over priced, cocktails were 10 euros and I think if they lowered the price slightly (7 euros) you would get more people buying throughout the day. We stayed in May before the English half term holidays so often had the swimming pool to ourselves - I am not sure how the pool/pool area would be when the apartments are full as the pool/area is very small (one or two floats and there really wouldn't be much space). The main issue is the area - it seems to be in the middle of nowhere and unless you rent a car you really are restricted during the evening, only a few restaurants that were always empty so you wasn't sure if they were good or not???!?!? and one decent supermarket. As the apartments are small and quiet (although I appreciate off season) there isn't any evening atmosphere and they only serve pizza after 5pm or 6pm. If you had children and couldn't drive I really think you would struggle in the evening. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and very small and not very welcoming. As per other reviews, the apartments are situated on a steep hill, and it really is a struggle getting up the hill!!!!!"

"We stayed here for one week. Very peaceful, friendly staff. Good base to explore crete. Would recommend a car to get around."
