Katrin Hotel & Bungalows

"Had a lovely welcome by reception, we arrived just as lunch was finishing but they allowed us into the restaurant, George was a breath of fresh air, a smile we liked to see every day, the spa staff welcomed us every morning, a cheeky hand massage before breakfast, then to offer free neck and shoulder massages around the pool area was a bonus. Food on a whole was okay, abit repetitive but edible, we ate out down by the beach a few nights. Alcoholic drinks were poured liberally not that it’s something to complain about, we didn’t watch the entertainment but could hear it from our balcony, shame it didn’t start earlier some nights as we would have joined. The kids area is far enough from the pain pools that it feels like an adult only hotel. Other holiday goers definitely lack a sense of noise after 11pm, doors slamming and shouting down corridors was one of the only downsides but nothing to do with the hotel itself. We would come and stay again, thank you for making our time so chilled and relaxing!"

"Started off not so good, had booked a double room but ended up at the back of the hotel in a family room with 4 single beds and was pretty dire to be honest, shower didn't work, big hole in the floor, rock hard beds, we went back down to reception to ask to change rooms, but by this time it was 1 in the morning, the night receptionist is a very nice man but told us to come back in the morning when the manager was working, we went back in the morning and the lady we spoke to was absolutely fantastic, she changed our room straight away and we were then in the modern part of the hotel with a sea view. Thank you so much! This hotel is in a prime spot, 5 mins to the town and beach with a fantastic taverna next door if you fancy eating out, though the food in the hotel was great. There is an adults only area with its own pool and fabulous sunbeds and a bar, though the barmaid could do with learning to smile, she looked completely miserable. All in all a great holiday, stalis is lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, we were in room 1119 I think or 119, anyway it was lovely. Be back soon!!!"
