Hotel Oceanis

"Currently sat on the balcony of our room. Actually booked this as we needed a break somewhere peaceful and off the beaten track of holiday resorts. The hotel sits in a stunning location at the top of Poros. Alex works tirelessly what seems like 24 hours a day along with his family and staff. Breakfast is more than needed by anyone. The pool area is quiet with a pool bar and it seems people have been coming back for years, we will certainly be back. Poros is a very lovely small Greek town with a few shops and restaurants. The walk into town is a little steep but worth it . Anyone with mobility issues may not be an issue because. Alex and his father run a shuttle service to town and back free of charge. They also have their own hire cars. We seriously cannot fault this hotel, Alex, his mom, Dad, sisters or staff as nothing is too much trouble. The family deserve praise for all their hard work"

"We would normally wait till the end of a trip to review but this one couldn’t wait. L I can say is Wow!! The perfect location, spectacular views, a wonderful welcome and the most amazing breakfast. This hotel is a must if you are visiting Poros. It is a close enough walk to the ferry and centre albeit a little steep -but they have even thought of that and offer a free shuttle to and from the port. Simple rooms but spotlessly clean and the most amazing views!!"

"Myself and my mum were the last guest to check out because the hotel closed for the winter. We stayed in room 106 the views are breathtaking, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, there is a fridge/freezer and a kettle. Breakfast was nice and the staff are very attentive. My mum has arthritis, she was able to take a slow walk down to the beach but could not manage the walk back as it is uphill, this was not a problem because the hotel provide transport to and from the beach/square. The hotel is rated a 2* but I would rate it a 3* Alex is the nicest host he really made us feel so welcome. This hotel is definitely great value for money."
