Idyllic cliffside stay
Just outside the pretty seaside town of Skala, perched on a cliffside overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian, settings don’t come much more idyllic than this. During your stay you’ll be just a few steps from Porto Skala Beach, while a five-minute drive will take you into Skala town.
Days here revolve around the large, sea-facing outdoor pool. Fringed with comfy sun loungers, and with a poolside bar and restaurant, this is the true meaning of relaxation. If you’re all about exploring your surroundings, meanwhile, you’ve picked a great spot to do it from. The hotel is on an eight-kilometre coastal walking trail that runs between Skala and Poros. Skala itself is about a half an hour walk from the hotel, and is home to a 3rd century Roman Villa, as well as a three-kilometre long Blue Flag beach.
Head into town for a bite or check out the hotel’s offering – it’s totally up to you. Either way you can expect delicious Greek fare with bags of flavour. As the day draws to a close there’s no better place for a nightcap than the hotel terrace so you can drink in that view.
