Pelagos Suites Hotel and Spa

"Loved everything about it ,the hotel is clean, food is amazing , good pools, great people , lovely entertainers and kids club very good. We also loved the Kos island and Paradis beach which is 50 min away from the hotel but totally worth going."

"We went as a family (2 kids 9 and 7) for 9 nights end of May, we had mixed reviews, There were really good bits and not so good bits.. Firstly the good bits; The staff were fantastic, could not do enough for you. They were amazing with the kids, Katrina from the bar was superb! She was lovely with our kids. Animation team were amazing! Working tirelessly all day to make sure everyone was entertained. They were fantastic with the kids, couldn’t do enough for them! My kids loved them. The food was really good- diverse nights, lots of range for kids and adults and the buffet never felt crowded. Lovely area to sit. The kids loved the availability of the crepe/ice cream during day and also the snack bar. Facilities were good, pools were nice and clean. Communal areas like toilets were always clean..Never felt crowded, however the sunbeds were always taken by towels From early in the morning. To be fair The hotel tried to do better with this- they put some more beds out and by the end of the week they had put out signs for people to follow, but no real enforcement. A few slides/flumes for the kids which was fun for them, but need to be careful and keep close eyes on your kids, as on occasion the lifeguard fell asleep for a moment (but the staff in my view are over worked and doing LONG hours, management need to be mindful on staff welfare / wellbeing). Now not so good bits; The rooms: Deluxe suite is not “deluxe”.. family of 4 for 9 nights was cramped at best. Kids spent the entire duration on a pull out sofa bed that was uncomfortable and small. There was hardly any space to store clothes, we were having to just shove things anywhere we could. The cleanliness was poor, really poor… bed sheets were never changed, just re-made. The floors were filthy, always dirty feet after coming out of the shower. Under the bed etc was caked in dust. The outdoor patio was covered in bird poo everywhere, old bird poo that was etched into the slabs. We ended up complaining after giving the benefit of doubt to the cleaner. Evening entertainment facilities: Barely anywhere to sit, hardly enough space to house the guests. We went out most of the time, but was very frustrating when you did want to sit down for a drink. I would hate to see it in “peak”. À la Carte restaurants: Italian was nice, Greek not the best. We had steak supplements and it was really poor for €14 extra per steak. I wouldn’t bother paying for it if you try it. So in summary, it was good. It wasn’t amazing, I believe tweaks here and there and it could be. Did we enjoy it? Yes. Would we go back? Probably not."

"Recently returned home from an 11 night stay at Pelagos suites, thought I would do a short review with basic information in case its useful for anyone. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained gardens & buildings. Check in was quick & easy though we were given very little information. No written information re the restaurant facilities & times, & no map. We were given a QR code to download an app which had some information, though not everything. Our room (a double suite booked through Jet2) was overlooking the adult pool, with doorway facing the main pool & entertainment area. The room was huge with plenty of storage (though we always take extra coat hangers). Large superking bed. Air con worked well & was easy to use. Slippers are provided, as are shampoo/showergel, conditioner, moisturiser & bottled water daily. The pools are cold, but manageable. The sunbed situation varied over our 11 days. There were times when there were no sunbeds & everyone was reserving early morning. But then there were days where it seemed half empty so no problem getting a sunbed later in the day. Main restaurant - we had breakfast & evening meal here. As far as I could see, all the food was labelled. The meats were always well cooked, I never struggled to chew any of the pork or beef always really soft & tasty. I would sum up that food was always good. The mediterranean restaurant by the adult pool looks to serve food all day, though I don’t think most people know about it, as its only used by a handful of people. When I had asked on facebook of anywhere that served food through the day (other than the main restaurant) the only responses I got were the ice cream hut. We had lunch in this restaurant daily, they serve pizza, hot dogs, burgers, mini gyros, chips, wraps, sandwiches, fruit & desserts. We ate in the Italian a la carte restaurant. Lovely food, very good. Entertainment – they seem to work on a 1 week rotation, so if you’re there longer than a week you’ll see the same acts twice. We rarely stayed out on an evening, but I think the entertainment consisted of very basic singing & dancing provided by their own entertainment team. However on a Sunday night they have a live band/singer, who is excellent, they do a full 2 hour gig, really good! I think that sums everything up for us, we didn’t do much other than relax. Overall absolutely stunning place, everything high quality and you are well looked after. I would recommend this hotel. Special mention to Sofia at the adult pool bar, she's so friendly, and to our fillipino friends in the restaurant salamat at paalam"
