Alkistis Beach Hotel

"This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location next to the beach. The rooms are clean and tidy and were very well kept, every day. Nice sea views from the room and a little balcony for a morning chill. There are no kettles in the rooms but we were allowed to get a coffee in the morning and take back to the room. We woke to a new cruise ship in the port each morning but it did not bother us and heard no noise from it. One inconsiderate idiot playing music in there room into the early hours but that was soon stopped. The hotel is built into the hills and can be hard on the legs but for us it was well worth it. The pool area is small but clean and tidy with amazing views. No drinks available by the pool but we took our own. B&B for us and breakfast was ok. No toast though haha. Very limited selection but great coffee. Outside the hotel is a bus stop to the new and old port. €2.50 each way and always on time when we used it. There is a shop and restaurant next to the hotel and both had amazing staff and good food. The shop also does a lovely pizza and you can buy a beer, sit outside and consume. It is a cheaper way to do a night or two. The beach is lovely and the restaurant has beds and umbrella for rent. €30 for two, with beer and food brought to you while you soak up the sun. Not cheap but well worth every penny. Mykonos old town is stunning and the more you go off the beaten track, the better it gets. Loads of bars and restaurants that are a fair price. Some a bit over priced but all looked very lovely. Highly recommend the hotel and the whole of what Mykonos has to offer. Thank you"

"Spent a trouble free week here sight seeing. Rooms are typical Greek, basic but clean. Plenty of two pin power sockets, shower is red hot when required, flat screen TV (never used it), hand soap, hair shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer and clean towels and shower mat every day. Room service was good too. Pool is big enough for swimming with plenty of loungers too. All of Mykonos is built on a hill so expect inclines where ever you go, including this hotel, if you don't like hills go to Spain.. There is a super market adj which sell everything you could need. Breakfast is good as well with good selection including bacon, eggs, omelette, cereals, yogurt,cheese,ham,orange juice, coffee etc. Would use this hotel again. 👍"

"Great location, in front of a nice beach, bus stop to go to Mykonos town(10 minutes/ 2 euros) and next to a market shop.Very good breakfast and front desk ladies are friendly and resourceful. Rooms are clean but small. Would recommend it.Sunsets were amazing from our balcony ."
