Kresten Palace

"Stayed here just for a few days to attend a wedding nearby. Great hotel, lovely location, food good and facilities all very good. Only one slight criticism is the air con in the room couldn't keep up with the heat so night times were a little warm but this is Rhodes and it is hot. The stand out feature of this hotel is the staff. Every single member of staff was absolutely amazing, whether its front desk, bar, housekeeping, restaurant, they are so friendly and attentive. Special mention to the lady at the pool bar who was outstanding every day and the three reception staff, Eleni and Pamela and one whose name I never caught, but from arrival to departure they were superb. They really made our stay, thank you so much, you are all a credit to this lovely hotel. I love Rhodes so I will definitely be back, but next time for longer and I will bring teh whole family :-)"

"We’ve just returned from a weeks stay at Kresten Palace. From the moment we arrived, checked in and shown to our room we felt looked after. Beware as there is a tourist tax to be paid upon arrival, which has to be in cash - about €60-70 for the week. We had a swim up room, and tbh was a bit worried about the amount of sunlight we would get, given previous reviews. We were put on the side where we had sunshine alllll day and evening. Message to ask what number if you wish. Lovely clean and modern rooms. There’s not much privacy on the patio, if you’ve neighbours both sides and above, however they were out most of the day. The swim up water is very cold, but you get used to it. Breakfast is chaotic, but a typical European standard of fayre is offered buffet style, and plenty of it aswell. We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel- but some tips. If you turn right onto the main road as you come out of the hotel, and walk 15-20 mins you’ll stumble across a little strip of restaurants and bars. We ate down here twice, and were very impressed. The other nights we taxied into Rhodes old/new towns. Do not be tempted to go into a rooftop restaurant in the main old town square, the waiters and people trying to get you to go in, are very aggressive and unfriendly . We are seasoned traveler’s and fell for it! Ripped off and left after a not very good meal. Head out to the side streets of the old town for some wonderful meals. Also the new town has a lovely street of settee clad restaurants to eat in, We did a catamaran trip with cherry catamaran from the new town marina. Haggle the price, all inclusive day out and were really impressed with it all. Especially the lunch buffet. Back to the hotel, it’s a brilliant place to stay, the pool bar staff are lovely, and even remember your orders. The food at the poolside is a great price and huge portions. The place is clean and tidy. The little shop on site is reasonably priced. The main pool area has plenty of sunbeds, we went a couple of times at midday and had poolside beds. Definitely recommend this hotel, and whilst we don’t really return to the same place twice, we are considering coming back. Thanks for a great stay"

"I loved Kresten Palace. Staff was awesome and helpful, we got help any time we needed. The hotel's mini market was good, bus stop next to the hotel and everything was clean. Food was delicious and waiters were so friendly. Special thanks to Niki and Dabo in Olympia restaurant and Reception staff for taking care of our company."
