Leonardo Kolymbia Resort

"A wonderful week at the Leonardo kolymbia Resort. The hotel is very well presented and maintained to a good standard. The staff are very friendly and attentive with the animation crew standing out as the beating heart of the resort. Kolympia is a quiet area with a small hub though this gives you easy acres to the busier Falaraki, with nights out there planned twice by the animation crew twice on our 7 day visit though the 3am return wasn’t our thing. We visited Lindos by boat trip which was really enjoyable and a very beautiful place. Rhodes town we visited by taxi which was a little steep but a choice we made to avoid the much cheaper bus, which we were informed can get quite busy and you aren’t always guaranteed a seat at busy times. The bar staff can be commended for always being welcoming and friendly, a good selection of local drinks and check with the bar staff what’s available aside from what’s on the all inclusive list. Some of the spirits weren’t identifiable once mixed with cola, which was a new experience. The à la carte offered twice on our stay was a nice touch, the food being served fresh as opposed to the buffet was welcome and the pizza and steak were really nice. Though it could be argued it was mire a gimmick than true à la carte but enjoyable nonetheless. In terms of the buffet a good selection available with themes across the week. Normal issues with some food not always being warm but nothing that we haven’t come to expect from all inclusive buffets but generally a good standard. The pool area was clean though as this was very much a brits abroad resort you can expect sun beds being reserved. This wasn’t a problem for us but could see it being an issue for some as the season gets busier. The animation team run activities through the day from 10am. These barely impact if it’s not your thing, it isn’t usually ours but by the end of the holiday we were drawn in to some of the frivolity. The beach is just a short walk with the resort offering limited free beds or 10 euros each if you aren’t fortunate to snag one. The beach bar was also a nice break from the hassle and bustle of the buffet and not too pricey. We had a great week and made some wonderful memories. I would recommend the resort for families and those looking for the typical all inclusive vibe."

The people can’t do enough for you. From arrival with a glass of fizz, to a birthday cake and wine. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend,"

"Just back from our third year staying at this hotel and it never disappoints. The staff really make everything so enjoyable and are always so welcoming. The food is excellent and the new a la carte restaurant is a lovely addition and the improved food offerings at the pool bar are great - rotisserie chicken - mmm! Many thanks to Angela and to Sakis at the pool bar who is amazing. Special mention must go to the terrific breakfast and lunch team - Georgia, Marietta, Merini, Koula, Stella, Eleni and Georgos who are like family now! So welcoming and always smiling! George and MIka at the Ariadne bar are great, so hard working! The staff are all a real credit to the hotel and are what make you want to return. In fact we have already booked for next year!"
