"It was a fabulous stay and the perfect sendoff from a couple of weeks in Greece. The staff was very helpful. We still marvel at the bellman carrying our 22 kilo bag up and down those stairs on his back. The front desk was always responsive, and we were both surprised and pleased with the morning breakfasts. I was not even aware that breakfast was provided but it was great to avoid an early morning hike up to the plaza. Five stars across the board. The only thing missing was an escalator."

"Stayed in the suite with the Infiniti pool for 3 nights - what an amazing property right on the caldera. Imergovili is away from the chaos of Oia and Fira and allows for a more peaceful/ relaxing stay. The room is spacious and nicely furnished in a more traditional style - has all the amenities. Our room (303) was farther down on the caldera and felt as if we were the only ones there! The bed is comfy with a couple of pillow choices. The maid service came by twice a day. Breakfast served at your private poolside every morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful - shout out to the porters that lugged our suitcases from the square down to the resort and back up when we left!!! The reception staff helped arranged transfers from/ to the airport as well as any other tours/ transfers we needed while we were there. Would definitely recommend having them help because the drivers they used were much more friendly/ safe drivers/ lacked any smell of smoking in the cars. While there is a lot to see on the island… our room and view was so inviting that we spent half our time poolside and enjoying the view off our balcony! Everyone talks about watching the sunset from Oia but compared to our one night watching in Oia vs our two nights watching from the resort- Imergovili wins out ! We’d definitely be back to stay here again when in Santorini! The restaurant on the property- Five Senses- is worth at least one meal while staying here. More in a separate review. Bottom line: If you’re visiting Santorini and want a relaxing stay and enjoy amazing caldera views in the morning and at night- this is the place A few notes as to who this is NOT for: -those with mobility issues/ not wanting stairs - we had ~70 stairs just to the main path (between Fira and Oia). Plus the rise on the steps are uneven - you definitely will be getting cardio and leg workouts just by leaving your room! -If you’re looking for lots of shopping options nearby (especially high end) or nightlife options, then stay in Oia / Fira"
