Alti Santorini Suites

"Visited recently and booked the penthouse suite with a private pool and hot tub. Positives: Stunning views of the Caldera, but then again almost every cliffside hotel offers amazing views. Spacious rooms, well appointed, with a massive two head rain shower. Breakfast was included, which was very good. Negatives; We booked the penthouse suite, assuming it would be very private, but this was not the case. The unit above us looked directly onto our pool and patio area. Our infinity pool was shared pool with our neighbors, which did not afford much privacy. Furthermore, our deck looked directly onto the patio of the unit below us, which I’m sure did not offer them much privacy either. The room both a hot tub, but it is actually just a dipping pool/whirlpool with the temperature set at 85°F (30 C). When we inquired after raising the temperature for an evening jacuzzi, we were informed that this was the highest temperature setting. They should, therefore, advertise this as a whirlpool and not a hot tub. While breakfast was very good, they have limited hours of service. I realize Europeans traditionally eat late, but the earliest breakfast time we could get was 8:15 AM. This forced us to miss a breakfast one morning on the account of an early excursion. The location is rather remote. If you seek peace and quiet, then this location is ideal, but it is 2.5 miles (4km) to Fira - you might consider renting a vehicle. All in all, a nice place, but for that price, we will probably look elsewhere next time we visit Santorini."

"Stayed at Alti Sugar suites with my now-finance and as a world traveler, I can say this easily ranks in my top 3 vacation accommodation thus far. The views out the sugarmoon suites are immaculate. Private hot tub and pool on your terrace were such huge pluses. Daily breakfast which was customizable to your desired spec was the PERFECT way to start every day. All staff from Valentina, Rouslou, Dinos, to Gianpaolo (Paul) were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed both our stay and overall trip. They helped set up the decoration for my proposal and it was all surreal. Lifelong memories were created here thanks to Alti! Second time in Santorini and I doubt it’ll be our last!"

Her support and hospitality made our trip feel so personal and effortless. The hotel itself is simply perfect for relaxation. If your idea of a holiday is to just switch off, unwind, and do nothing while soaking up incredible views, this is the place. We spent 4 nights in Room 102 and loved every moment. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We truly have nothing bad to say about our experience here.
