And this is no bog-standard beach, either, but a protected habitat for nesting loggerhead turtles, which you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of during your stay. Boat trips head off from the beach, too, to explore surrounding caves tucked along the shoreline, and nearby Marathonisi Island, another place the turtles call home.
