St John Villas

"Fantastic accommodation, we stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom villa which was immaculate and very clean. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, lovely big balcony/terrace area and well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. There was a daily cleaning service with fresh towels and pool towels provided. Having our own pool was amazing and there was a stunning view out to the sea and Kefalonia in the distance. Short walk to the resort (c.15 mins) but a steep climb back at the end of the night! Well located to explore Zakynthos town - taxi was €20 each way. Nice clean town with pedestrianised streets lined by a variety of shops. Felt very safe walking about. We also booked a trip to look for turtles in their natural habitat - a coach collected us from the resort centre and took us to Laganas Bay where we boarded a boat. We had the opportunity to swim from the boat at a couple of beautiful spots. Overall a wonderful, relaxing break and a chance to recharge the batteries and have some quality family time in a beautiful location. Ideal with older children as there was plenty of space to spread out. Would certainly consider returning in the future."

"We had a fantastic stay at St. John’s Resort and are already thinking about when we can return. We stayed in the Olive Villa, which had just been renovated, so everything felt brand new. The villa was amazing, with a lovely private pool, and it was both comfortable and peaceful throughout our stay. The gym was exceptionally well equipped and is probably the best one I've used at a small resort. It had everything needed for a proper workout. The housekeeping was excellent. Our cleaner was friendly, hardworking, and did a great job every day. Whenever we had a question or a small issue, all it took was a quick WhatsApp message to reception and it was sorted almost immediately. The location is great, with stunning views across the bay. The walk down the hill was easy enough, even for our 5 and 3 year old children. We only walked back up a few times, as taxis were easy to get and only cost around €8–10. The only negative was the resort shop, which was quite expensive—we were charged €5 for a loaf of bread. However, this was a very minor issue in what was otherwise an excellent holiday. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend St. John’s Resort. We're already looking at dates for our next visit."
