Sleepy spot outside Tsilivi
This charming bolthole is pitched up on the outskirts of Tsilivi – a laid-back resort that’s home to a slew of bars, restaurants, and tavernas. The cherry on top though, is the long belt of sand that runs practically the length of the resort and gives way to the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea.
Spend your days wandering the bougainvillea-lined streets of the resort, lazing on the beach, or having a blast at the local water park, which is a handy two-minute walk from the hotel. Back at base, meanwhile, there’s a decent sized outdoor pool with a smattering of sun loungers and a nearby pool bar – the perfect set-up for a low-key day.
Before you get to all that you’ll need to drop by the breakfast buffet, which is a bumper selection of self-serve eats. As for dinner, you’ll have your pick of places within walking distance – as well as a choice of late-night bars where you can hole up until the wee hours.
