Park Plaza Budapest

"I highly recommend Park Plaza Budapest. The location is simply perfect — truly royal. The view of the Hungarian Parliament from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. The bed was very comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent. A fantastic place to stay in Budapest!"

"This is a mediocre Hotel that just happens to have a great view on one side. Be very careful if the weather is warm because they’re air-conditioning is hit or miss. Many people are complaining because they had no air-conditioning. It was above 30/85. Having said that if you stay on the riverside, you have an extraordinary view. It’s pretty obvious they don’t need to or choose not to invest in upkeep and renovation as the view keeps the place going and the prices are pretty reasonable. Apparently the breakfast is not very good but the good news is there is an abundance of cafés in the area and restaurants. At night you have to walk across the street and take in the amazing view. Somewhere I saw it as a four star. It’s clearly not. And if you’re not on the river side it’s like a 2.5."

"This hotel is very tired/outdated. Rooms need an update. Patio was in desperate need of cleaning. Glass & floors on patio very dirty! Only 1 pillow choice. Breakfast choices were good. Location of hotel is close to Danube & transit. Located on the Buda side(quieter area) A few restaurants near by. Way more selection on the other side( Pest side). Reception was helpful. View over Danube to parliament building at night is BEAUTIFUL….. only if your room is street side(Danube side)"
