You’ll be parked up right next to a stellar stretch of shoreline at Hotel Terme Providence. Cava dell’Isola Beach is just a hop, skip, and a jump across the road – past a couple of buzzy beachfront bars. The hotel, meanwhile, feels tailor-made for a relaxing getaway. And how could it not with a thermal spa offering at its heart?
The outdoor pool takes full advantage of the thermal spring water, sitting pretty at 40°C – no bracing for the chill ‘round these parts. The spa offers everything from mud therapies to ayurvedic and shiatsu massages if you’re craving a bit of proper pampering, while the yoga sessions in the aromatherapy garden are perfect for finding your inner zen.
Local flavours are the focus of the dining scene here, so you can expect crowd-pleasing classic Italian dishes. The menu in the main restaurant highlights seasonal ingredients and produce from the hotel’s very own farm just a stone’s throw away. And you’ll spy a few very local varieties on the wine list, too – grown in their hillside vineyard and flavoured with Italian sunshine.
Your journey will include a transfer from Naples Airport to the Port of Naples where you will wait for the next available ferry to take you to Ischia. You will be responsible for carrying your own luggage on and off the ferry which may include a flight of steps. The crossing will be approximately 60 mins. From there, you will take a transfer to your chosen accommodation. The same applies for your return journey. Please note that the total transfer time of approx 125 mins does not include your wait time for the ferry.
