"Villa Ravino was one of the highlights of our stay in Ischia. We are from New York City and stayed there during the second half of May 2026. The hotel is located in Forio, about a 20-minute walk from the port and very close to the beautiful Poseidon Thermal Gardens, which we really enjoyed visiting. This is not a typical hotel — it has character, charm, and a unique atmosphere. The property is beautifully decorated with a lot of taste and attention to detail. The outdoor pool and the indoor thermal pool were both very clean and relaxing. The cactus garden is beautiful, and every morning we were greeted by peacocks walking around the property, which made the experience even more special. The hotel consists of several apartment-style accommodations with kitchens. We stayed in a studio apartment; although it was small, it was perfectly sufficient for the two of us and included a lovely little outdoor space. There is also a sea view from the hotel terrace. The only small thing we would suggest is a little more variety in the breakfast from day to day. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Overall, Villa Ravino feels authentic. I would recommend to stay there."

"We are just back after a very lovely stay in Villa Ravino , A wonderful rustic charming place. All the staff have looked after us extremely well and nothing has been too much trouble for them . The reception staff were very knowledgeable and extremely caring , booking us some excellent trips.( Seadream boat trip ) The breakfast staff were very friendly and remembered our morning preferences for drinks and cooked some lovely home made cakes and tarts .The cleaning staff visible and approachable ,obviously taking great pride in maintaining and cleaning a rustic elegantly styled hotel.We had a good meal first night in the restaurant but then enjoyed a mixture of eating out and cooking in the mini kitchen in our rooms.The fridge was an excellent size for storing cold drinks etc.The atmosphere was really chilled ,quiet and relaxing.Our own drinks on the patio overlooking the sea or from the restaurant.The gardens are amazing and lovely to have to ourselves when the day visitors have left ,so very many knocks and crannies to sit and absorb the atmosphere.The gardeners clearly out and about tending to the various plants which all looked impressive. Ischia is overall a really great place to visit with all its beaches and thermal parks ,Poseidon park within walking distance. For us, we hope Ischia remains unspoilt and not overrun by mass tourism.I would love to go back and perhaps experience another time of the year ,maybe May/June.
