"Absolutely the worst service. We sat in the hot sun for 30 minutes with 3 phone calls to the hotel asking where the shuttle was. When we arrived the front desk clerk argued with us, no apology, no let us give you a welcome drink. Then our first room was 4 buildings away overlooking a driveway and crammed with an extra bed. We said no and we're given a bigger room in the same building but also bizarrely with an extra bed.The building is 15 minute walk through dark hallways multiple flights of stairs and an uneven random driveway. and craing with ants.There are numerous unlocked doors into the building so no security. I fell on the driveway because there are no lights on the uneven pavement and I was told sorry and here are some bandages. When we asked for our bags to be picked up for our morning shuttle we were told there is no one available at 7am there workers don't start until 730. This is a huge hotel and yet no one to help carry our luggage from 4 buildings away so we will have to carry them down a narrow lane 2 way road with no sidewalk. And the best they charge 2 Euro for beach towels. Seriously add it to the price of the room. It's a resort hotel above a beach. In general it is a dated old hotel that has seen way better days but most importantly they service is abysmal. We had one kind front desk clerk and that was it. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE."

"No where near Forio yo need to get a bus or taxi it’s on a hill with only a small supermarket and chemist across the main road The first room we were given was so far away from pools etc at 150 also looking into someone house as the owner seems to have bought up areas we were moved to 311 which was far better Watch out if you are given rooms 800 plus These are across the main road and either up a dark lane or on the main road at the bend The reception staff were rude as per other reviews The food was good The pool bar staff were really nice and friendly the lunchtime food was good as well but you couldn’t get a hot lunch after 2.30 as the kitchen closed It was cheaper to drink cocktails than vodka and tonics The owner made his presence every day and night in the restaurant There was a bus to take you town to the beach but it was quite expensive Having been in ischia town before I really wish we had gone there again just due to the proximity of all the shops and bars It was a relaxing holiday"

"Just totally sublime . Relaxing , friendly , pristine . Just perfect in so many ways. I stay in hotels frequently .. work and pleasure and I’d have to say this was definitely a nice surprise. Better than 5 star Barbados . I was with my son and his young family . The staff are so genuinely lovely . Nothing fake or contrived . I would have to say this is the best break I’ve had in quite a few years and I take quite a few each year . Vincenza in reception and the staff at the bar by the pool are exceptional . I never , ever go back to the same place twice .. but I would come back here .."
