"The Lido Palace hotel is a beautiful, world class hotel. We stayed in one of their Sky suites on the forth floor with a small terrace and spectacular views of the mountains and Lake Garda. It is very conveniently located just outside of the old city center within very easy walking distance to everything. The staff is very accommodating and went out of their way to extend their hospitality to us. We had a very nice dinner in their restaurant one evening that was delicious and the service was impeccable. We were in Riva Del Garda for the huge, annual Optimist Dinghy regatta and it is a perfect place to base for this event."
