"Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars) We stayed at Hotel La Paül in Sirmione in July. Unfortunately, the room was nothing like the description, and the hotel looked run‑down and far from a 3‑star standard. The pictures online are very cleverly taken, so as a guest you can’t really see the true condition of the place until you arrive. After seeing the room, we decided to leave right away – it was simply a terrible experience, and we really didn’t feel the need to stay under those conditions, even though we lost about half the money. It’s a shame, because the location is lovely, but the hotel desperately needs more care and honesty. We will definitely never stay at this hotel again. Kind regards,"

"I couldn’t fault the place! It was a perfect stay and if anything, I wish I was there longer. Fantastic customer service and quick to respond to any questions or queries prior to our arrival. They offered hotel transfers for us which made our travels at ease. I loved the scenery by the lake, and my only regret is not having the time to jump in the pool. On our stay we had a day trip planned prior to breakfast, in which they went above and beyond and supplied us with breakfast boxes which had more than enough supplies! Not to mention the actual breakfast itself had a good variety. Loved the location, staff and amenities, I would love to be back asap if I could…"
