Best Western Hotel City

"Good sized room though limited for storage and the lighting was either BRIGHT or not much. No drawers to keep things in. Bonus was that there was a kettle, tea, coffee etc. Walk-in shower was great and a special "night light" in the floor which was helpful. Great selection available at breakfast. At reception Fernanda, Alessandro and Lorenzo were very helpful ref information and directions. There was free coffee at a machine on the ground floor. Not suitable for wheelchair users as there were some 4-5 steps to reach the lift. The area felt safe at night. A couple of bars nearby and several restaurants. Location was a 2 min walk to Lima Metro station and about 20 mins walk to Milano Centrale. If I visit Milan again I would use this hotel."

"The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was nice; able to walk to what we wanted to do. The elevator was terrible, extremely small; 2 people and luggage barely fit. Breakfast was good. If you were unable to walk; getting to the elevator required climbing steps."

"This hotel looks fine, but our stay was definitely not fine. The room was smelly, the button to flush the toilet leaked water, the shower water goes everywhere because there’s only a half window to cover the splashing, the water from the shower would go from cool to third degree burns in a second without moving the handle, the walls are very thin and the city noise outside is very loud, it was one of the worst sleeps of my life, but the hotel itself doesn’t look bad. They make you give a deposit to hold your luggage which we hadn’t seen in the other hotels in Italy. However, there are many food spots within walking distance and shops which is nice, and the breakfast prices were affordable. The hotel is inside a shopping center, but the area around the hotel is decent."
