Resort Tre Fontane

"Portici Italy a lovely little city near Pompeii which is a must see once in a lifetime trip . We stayed in a luxury hotel, called tre fontane Luxor.a nice accessible room, with a wet room and a shower cubical, which should’ve had a shower chair which wasn’t provided until I asked they sorted in seconds , the staff were absolutely amazing with the help they provided and so polite friendly people staff and guests alike , we had a large balcony with a patio door which had a ramp either side but was still difficult at times to get up and out with my powered wheelchair, then we go down to the gym , very nice also check for accessible bathroom which there was and good wide access the only let down once your in the bathroom there were no hand rails,so had to go back to my room each time , in the advertisement it shows rooms with hot tubs and jacuzzi with a view off the sea , but there was nothing like this as expected because it’s the accessible room nice room but they never show the accessible room, in any adverts in brochures or online which I think they should , now we come to the pool it’s the one of 3, hotels in portici , with a pool it would have been nice if it was heated , to cold, and there was no hoist so not accessible for me and I suppose many of you guys to , now we going out around portici , we complain about pot holes here wait until you sample there roads & pavement as I was more in the road than the pavement and the roads are not much better but in my power wheelchair I managed to get to the beach which is nice stroll , there no bars shops there still working on the promenade , which will take a few years to happen but it will look good once it is done, I had to use a lot of taxis and the prices were so high I had to take out another mortgage , for a 20 minute drive from portici to Pompeii, €250 and that’s not just for people who need accessible vehicles that’s the same for everyone, the busses and trains were just not accessible so had to rely on taxis, when in Pompeii archeological park we could get round some of the area but plan what you want to see, do your research and enjoy your holiday as I did but being restricted I still done what I could and enjoyed it , so research the surrounding areas and ask the hotel before you go as the staff are happy to help. In the pics the paths are good but that soon changes to large rocks , there are ramps but that’s your own risk and choice"

"Absolutely terrible! The 'seaside view' is a view of a rubbish dump! When I queried, the staff member was very rude! No customer care! She tried saying that it means a side view of the sea, well it was more of a tiny glimpse in the distance, if you had very good long distance sight! But actually, it was a view of a derelict building and rubbish. The climate control was broken and the room was freezing. We kept calling to reception, whilst sat in our coats and they kept saying they will adjust it. Eventually someone came to the room and turned it on at the fuse box because it had been turned off (because it's faulty) they clearly know it's an issue. They then put it on full and left it on full, so the room was so hot, we couldn't sleep! The security made us walk in the road to get to the hotel because the pedestrian path is 'private'. The food and drinks are ridiculously expensive and there's nothing nearby! The parking is €20 per day!! I emailed the hotel to raise my issues and they ignored me! Altogether my advice is to avoid it!"

"Stayed here 17/09 - 18/09 2025 A perfect overnight hotel for 1 - 3 nights. The hotel is located about 7 km from the center of Naples. The deposit of 100Euro/night is very high and reduces the value for money very much. Clean and fresh hotel with one side facing the water. Pros: Quick check-in/check-out. The customer in the center. Helped Quiet environment in the lobby area. Pool. Clean and fresh. Good breakfast. 7 bed. (see below*). Cons: High deposit 100Eur/night. Credit card only. Bird problem if you sit outside and eat. Railway traffic in the rooms that have a view of the water. 7 km from the center of Naples (about 20 minutes by car). 3 Value for money (see below**). *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress 10) **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10)."
