Hotel Varese

"Hotel is well situated for Termini, 2min walk in a quieter area. Staff were really lovely - especially those at breakfast. Breakfast was SUPERB. Excellent choices, fresh, tasty and served (not buffet). Room was very spacious, bed comfy, everything clean. Soundproofing (between rooms) could be improved as could the darkness of the room - we had a flashing smoke detector going all night! Bathroom could do with updating. However, I would recommend staying here!"

"The hotel is in a brilliant location, close to the Termini Station (circa 7min walk). The staff are very friendly and couldn’t fault them. However, the room we had didn’t have a window to the outside, instead the window opens out to a corridor, which feels uncomfortable when open. I’m not good in a room without fresh air or daylight so if you’re staying here and you need those things maybe ask for a room that’s not in the basement. The room also smelled damp when first walking in, possibly due to the air conditioning unit. The shower was powerful with good temperature ranges. There was little or no noise during the night. You can book breakfast as, due to the small area available for seating, needs to be done in intervals. The food was good with a wide selection. Overall the stay was positive but I was disappointed not to have a room with access to fresh air or daylight."
