"We stayed at Leon's Place for a week during half term - family of 3 (mum, dad, 11 year old daughter). We had a junior suite, which was a spacious room with a balcony area - plenty big enough to be comfortable during our stay. The decor was stylish, and all necessary amenities were available. The bed was large and comfortable - we slept really well, including our daughter on the additional bed that was provided for her. It was over 30° each day that we were in Rome, so the effective air con was very much welcomed. We stayed on a room only basis as we didn't need a big breakfast each day, but we did enjoy breakfast on one day which we paid for at the time. It was very good. The dinner menu looked good for us grown-ups but was a bit fancy for our 11 year old's taste so we didn't get to dine in. There are a plethora of great restaurants in the neighbourhood though - in particular we enjoyed Bacco, just round the corner, recommended by Matilde, and for a traditional Trattoria, we visited Andrea's just a little further down the same street on two occasions. We concur with other reviews that highly recommend the gelataria across the road! Delicious! Staff at the hotel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. My daughter left her hat in the internal courtyard one day and staff had found it, put it somewhere safe, and it was instantly produced when we enquired. We very much enjoyed our stay in Rome. Thank you for being our home for the week."

"Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! We are just back from a 3 day stay for my birthday. We arrived on my birthday and the man on the desk noticed it was my birthday by my passport. He kindly gave us a room upgrade and had a bottle of fizz sent to the room which really started off the trip well! Customer service and attention to detail is 10/10! The room was lovely. The bed, oh my god. The comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in, I am dreaming of those pillows! Myself and my husband have both said it’s the only hotel we’ve stayed in where we’ve slept right through without waking once! The interiors are gorgeous and every member of staff was so helpful in ordering us taxis etc. If we ever return to Rome, we would definitely come back! Thank you!"
