"Nice staff but smelly room and broken elevator. We are in room 418 on the “new side” which is disconnected from the lobby building somehow. The elevator is broken to the five flights of stairs is not great at the end of a long day touring. We keep opening the windows to get rid of the smell, but we come back and they are closed. Even in March it is very hot up here in 418. We didn’t receive our welcome basket as promised and two coffee pods are free and that’s it. So definitely not luxury. The breakfast staff all seem nice and we got an early check in so that is the only saving grace. Location is nice but there are many other hotels with great locations. I would pay extra to stay elsewhere."

"We had a reservation in the main building, because I read all the reviews and was afraid, that if we come late, no-one would open us. But, we had an upgrade to the luxury rooms. So, first I was afraid.. but! everything was absolutely great! Nice personal, very clean rooms. Everything is good with the sound - you don't hear anything. Quiet and safe street, but still not far from Termini station - 3-5 mins. I would like to express my gratitude to the man, who works every morning during breakfast time and asks if we would like coffee or tea - so nice and welcoming."

"Da evitare assolutamente. Pagato 280€ a notte per un servizio da terzo mondo. Il bagno odorava di fogna (chiesto spiegazioni e se sono uscito con la ridicola scusa che era colpa “dello scirocco”). Un pomeriggio torniamo e la porta di accesso alla zona “Luxury suites” era bloccata - siamo rimasti nelle scale per mezz’ora finché non sono venuti ad aprirla. Evitate davvero. Absolutely one to avoid. We paid €280 per night for what can only be described as third-world service. The bathroom smelled of sewage (when I raised the issue, I was given the rather ridiculous excuse that it was due to the sirocco wind). On one afternoon we returned to find the access door to the “Luxury Suites” area locked — we were left standing in the stairwell for half an hour before someone finally came to open it. Truly best avoided."
