"We enjoyed much about our stay at Anahi: the staff were lovely and so helpful with suggestions; the location is fantastic; breakfast was both a good value and an opulent experience, as it was across the street at a storied five-star hotel. In response to my request for a quiet room, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to the Apartment, a few doors down. It was indeed quiet and included all the necessary conveniences and comfort (including a balcony!), but since it wasn't actually in the hotel, I can't really judge the experience of staying in the hotel itself, roomwise. One caution: if you're captivated by the photos of the rooms' decor, and if their appeal is what prompted your reservation, then don't accept the Apartment as a substitute--it's 360 degrees different: white and minimalist, with scarcely any decorative accents. I was crestfallen upon being shown to it, though I know that the staff meant it as a kindness. And of course, if that kind of clean, Ikea vibe is your thing, you'll be delighted! We would stay at Anahi again, having been so happy with the staff and the location (and breakfast!), but next time I'd specify that I wanted a room in the hotel."
