"The hotel is in the heart of everything,in its days must have been a grand hotel.The foyer is not user friendly as it has steps to get to a lift.Staff is a hit and miss and the rooms are quite dated and the facilities are not to a standard of 5 star.TVs are not far from the old tube style.If you are planning to spend time in your room this is definitely not the place for you but the biggest winner is centrally located."

"The stay was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and in the perfect location to walk to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and so many other points of interest. The room was great, huge and beautiful as well. We had a suite and did not want to leave. Every member of the staff was also so friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. Excellent morning buffet with attentive service and a great mix of healthy and sweet options, including lox, a juicer, homemade waffles, meats, cheeses, made to order omelettes, yogurts, pastries and so much more. The area is safe and the taxi stand just outside made exploring very convenient. I was hesitant at first based on some reviews that the hotel could use some updates, and I usually prefer more modern accommodations, but I could not have been happier with this choice and will stay again without hesitation the next time we are in Rome. It’s really all part of the charm! We could not have asked for a better stay for our first time in Rome!"

"We had a very nice standard large room overlooking a quiet side street. We had good service. Beautiful and spacious marble bathroom. It’s a historic hotel so of course it may look “dated” to some. Excellent location near Villa Borghese with walking distance to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Be prepared for mob scenes at major tourist attractions."
