S'Arena Beach Hotel

"The pool area was nice and the location to both the town and the beach is great (we really liked exploring La Caletta and nearby Santa Lucia), however overall this hotel was disappointing given its price and 4 star rating. We stayed at a number of other hotels during our trip that had the same star rating and were cheaper than the La'Serena - but the difference in the standard of rooms, gardens and overall experience was remarkable. La'Serena rooms are incredibly basic, with very little in them except the essentials (you aren't given glasses just plastic disposable cups to drink water out of the tap and no tea and coffee making facilities for example). The beds are uncomfortable and despite booking a family room for myself, my partner and my 3 year old I was charged an extra 10 euros a night for a cot (my daughter would have fallen out of the two single beds that he had already paid for). The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the cost and rating don't reflect the budget nature of the hotel and experience."

"We spent two weeks at this hotel from 7th Sept < 21st Sept 2025. We have easily awarded them a 5* review, however, it is never the obvious things that contribute to a really good holiday. It is those little extra efforts that go towards making it "special". Many hotels can reach a 5* level on all the "headers" listed above, but it is how all the staff make you feel that contributes that extra bit. The S'Arena Beach Oasis Hotel has that little extra bit with the staff making the customer feel welcome and wanted. This was very obvious throughout and especially in the restaurant where the staff was very efficient whilst making time to relate to customers individually. Jan & Terry Page"

"Really great hotel, however the holiday description is misleading, the nearest shops, restaurants, bars are not a 10 minute walk, if your not fit then your going to be stuck here , no taxi services available, very disappointed, some of the bar staff are extremely rude. On a positive note good food , clean rooms and most are helpful."
