"Gteat hotel great staff we booked 2 nights and then decided to stay the 3rd night .we asked if we could have a room with a walk in shower. We were delighted with the walk in shower the room was so fresh sparkling clean. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good great menu 😋 breakfast was excellent great menu great choice we had lovely food in the cafe bar pier 56 on2 evening and again great choice of food great service excellent 😋 my and myself really enjoyed our weekend in Galway great location to visit lots of lovely places to visit in Galway Regards Elizabeth 😀"

"Location was great, swimming pool is huge, waiting staff are friendly. Breakfast was poor, very limited selection. Same every day - only decent bit was the pastries. No beach towels. Beds hard. Intermittent WiFi issues. The bar was awful, felt like a hospital clinic, drinks were very disappointing and pricier than a proper bar in town. Wasn’t a lot happening around the hotel. Reception staff weren’t the most helpful. There is a system to put money on the swipe card to buy drinks/food at the hotel. I put €100 on at check in, bought 2 drinks which were terrible so didn’t spend anything else. At check out, I got the money back off my card but cash only (on the last day). This was never communicated at check in, otherwise I would not have stuck €100 straight on as it’s incredibly inconvenient for someone returning home that day to a country that uses other currencies. There is also no signage anywhere inside the hotel. It took us a while to find the quickest way to breakfast!"
