Tirreno Resort

"Really lovely resort for a 3 night stay as a family of 4. This was the final destination of our trip and much needed rest and relaxation. May was a perfect time to visit. There were people but not loads and plenty of space in the pool and on the loungers and on the beach. The food was really good, much better than any of the all inclusive types we have been to before. We stayed full board, the room was nice, clean and cool although the air con wasn’t the best we didn’t really need it. The pool was massive and beach was lovely too. There’s a little row of bars, shops and bakeries just along the road to the right and .75 miles up the road are bigger stores and a cash machine. Parking was easy and there were no weird hidden charges or extras. You will need cash to put money on your wrist bands if you are not all inclusive. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and basketball, a little gym, very nice bikes for hire and a massage section if you fancy it."

"Everything about this resort is wonderful, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. There's lots of activities if you want to join in or you can choose to do them yourself. The food was excellent with plenty of choice for everyone and the restaurant manager Angelo took care of us very well. The rooms are a little dated but very clean and as for the swimming pool area I don't think I've ever seen such a clean and we maintained pool. The nearby beaches are beautiful and the sea is crystal clear. We were a group of 6 and we would all highly recommend this resort."

"Just returned from 10 days at Tirenno resort. Beautiful hotel and spotlessly clean everywhere. We were greeted by the lovely Eleanora at reception who spoke perfect English. She was really helpful throughout our stay as were her other 2 reception colleagues. We were in a bungalow looking out on impeccably kept gardens. Just gorgeous. Room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was outstanding. The best I’ve seen in 30 plus years of going abroad. Had a couple of great features.. bubble pool plus a fast moving jet circuit. Loved it. Ample sun beds. The beach was equally as clean. White sand and crystal clear water. Very busy and noisy on a morning but half emptied after lunchtime. Couple of nice beach bars on the the beach. We also dined at the Coralla Restaurant opposite the hotel. Wow. We ate mussels in tomato sauce (just get 1 to share between 2 people) and lobster languini. Both incredible. Fantastic waiter called Franco works there. He was fabulous at advice and made the evening more memorable. There are half a dozen other great bars and restaurants near the hotel. We booked a boat trip and hired a car from the helpful lady next to the reception. Both experiences were brilliant. Brandichini beach was gorgeous but incredibly busy. Need to pre book a spot. Sun bed hire was pricey at €45 for 2 beds and an umbrella. Food in the dining area was great. Good choices. Nice picnic provided for our boat trip. The only negative is this is not really a hotel for couples looking for a relaxing holiday which is what we wanted. It’s designed to be a hotel for familes, especially babies and toddlers who are quite noisy from morning till midnight. The entertainment goes on till after 11pm and there is a lot of noise till after midnight each night. ( We didn’t actually book this hotel - we were booked to go to Marina Beach, but they cancelled our hotel booking just before we were due to go and offered Tirenno as an alternative). That said, we loved our holiday and beautiful Sardinia and if we had young children, Tirrreno would be the perfect choice."
