The Acacia Resort in Campofelice Di Roccella may be set in a lush oasis of green, but it's far from your common garden variety hotel.
The crowning glory in this verdant Eden is its humongous 1600 metre-squared lagoon-style pool surrounded by swaying palms and exotic landscaped gardens. The pool bar offers refreshments and light snacks meaning you won't have to travel far from your sunbed should you fancy a bite, while the main restaurant has more substantial Sicilian and international dishes. From the fully equipped fitness room and the rooftop spa to aerobics, minigolf, tennis and beach volleyball, there's certainly plenty to help you build up an appetite. Little ones will be kept well entertained with a children's playground and kids' club. Once evening falls, adults can relax in the lounge bar with a cocktail and live music while smaller guests will enjoy the games room with a snooker table and table tennis.
Just 100 metres down the garden path will bring you to the hotel's private sand and shingle beach. Should you feel like exploring, the town of Campofelice di Roccella is four kilometres away while Madonie Regional Park and Cefalù are also within easy striking distance.
