Hotel Caesar Palace

"A large hotel about a mile outside of Giardini Naxos, but a free shuttle bus is provided to take guests to the town and beach. Rooms are clean and well equipped with kettle, fridge and hairdryer - a safe costs extra. It has a very large pool for adults, and a smaller one for children, with play equipment nearby. However, the adult pool was filled with small children throwing balls and lying on inflatables. Music was played very loudly round the pool for most of the day, so we found an oasis on the roof (3rd floor) which had sun loungers and has a good view of mount Etna. Meals are buffet style and the choice was excellent."

"We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights 4 as part of a tour group with 3 nights on our own as chill time. Our room was nice, although the bed was a bit strange. The mattress didn't quite fit the bed. The bathroom too was a strange combination. A huge pillar in the middle. Anyone who was well built might find it challenging to reach the toilet. The bidet was behind the door so if the door was opened widely it banged into it. It was quite difficult to use the shower over the bath, as the space between the pillar and the shower screen was minimal. The public areas are nice, however the seating would benefit from new loose covers. The seating in the dining room could also benefit from being changed. Food as has been pointed out would be enjoyed better if it was warmer, although I did enjoy tortellini one night and cannelloni another. Sweets were always nice. The pool area is lovely. The staff too are all very pleasant and helpful."

"Lovely hotel and rooms.we struck lucky and got a deluxe room with lovely balcony. The pool is big and very nice. The communal spaces good as well. BUT for a 4* hotel the food is very poor. A good choice but the so called hot dishes are always cold. Flaccid beans and broccoli. Salad selection reasonable as well. A microwave is available to reheat food, but eh it’s a 4 * hotel not a hostel. At breakfast cold fried eggs!!!! And scrambled egg from a powder not fresh. Also no fruit cocktail selection just fesruiwich is often underripe. On the plus side free wine with dinner. If you’re looking for a good dining experience forget it and look elswhere."
