Carnival Palace

"The hotel was in a perfect, quiet location for us. A lovely 30 minute walk away from the busy St Mark’s square but has restaurants close by and a lot more, and shops, within a 10 minute walk. We caught the public water bus from the airport which stopped near to the hotel. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. If you can manage the extra expense book a room with a view of the canal. A fabulous view and the room itself was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate , not a big choice but enough to set you up for the miles of walking you will do to see beautiful Venice. We hope to return to Venice in the future and will definitely stay at the Carnival Palace again."

"We opted for the room with a view - the room and view was amazing and well worth it. Francois at the front desk was very kind and helpful as was all the staff. The room was beautiful with nice decor and the bathroom was quite large with a tub. We loved it - the view of the gorgeous canal really made our stay in Venice memorable!"

"I really hate having to write this review. This was my third time staying here, with my last visit being 3 years ago. Unfortunately, things have clearly changed for the worse. The breakfast is nowhere near the quality it used to be, and the room was dirty. Down at the bar, the two new staff members seem only interested in pushing low-quality items at incredibly high prices. To make matters worse, the front desk team doesn't seem to care about the guests at all; I asked to speak with the manager four times, and every single time he was "unavailable." Stop spamming people with messages asking for a review and start working on your quality instead!"
